"A TASTE OF MÉRIDA"
Our March 6th event is one of two annual “Signature” fundraisers organized by Fundación BAI A.C.; the other being the “Mérida Showcase of Homes Tour”. Both of these events support the work of BAI in raising awareness and preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS, STI’s and teenage pregnancies, all of which are serious issues here in the Yucatan.
Typically “A Taste of Merida” sells out and has become the “must attend” event of the Spring. This year the excitement has been elevated as each table will be decorated with a unique center piece created by designers, architects, artists and florists, all of whom call Mérida home.
Our venue is simply stunning. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you feel the need to pause. Hacienda Santa Cruz has a way of transporting you to a time of elegance and grandeur. The grounds are immaculate and the hacienda has been thoughtfully and expertly renovated to deliver an experience of the highest standards.
The pavilion that is our space for the evening, easily accommodates 20 tables of 10 and our silent auction. It is open to the air with a retractable roof so all can enjoy the fresh breezes and, weather permitting, the starlit heavens.
